The 5070 Ti has more cores and four generations of architectural improvement. The 6900 XT has a similar TDP but is far less efficient per frame.
Rasterization
In raster, the RTX 5070 Ti is roughly 40–60% faster than the RX 6900 XT at 1440p and 4K. Its newer architecture, GDDR7 memory, and much higher IPC give it a large lead.
The 6900 XT is still a capable 1440p card and handles entry 4K, but it’s been surpassed significantly. For pure raster, the 5070 Ti wins by a wide margin.
Ray tracing
Ray tracing favors the 5070 Ti overwhelmingly. Its fourth-gen RT cores are dramatically faster than RDNA 2’s first-gen, and the gap is often 3–4x in RT-heavy titles. The 6900 XT’s RT is barely usable in modern games.
